The Dallas Morning News The energy giant [ExxonMobil] announced Friday a $125 million investment to expand math and science instruction. Tom Luce, the Dallas attorney who served in President Bush's Education Department, will lead the effort. The National Math and Science Initiative initially will replicate nationwide the UTeach program and the Advanced Placement Initiative that has spread college-bound science courses across Texas classrooms.
