Programs

We have found that the most effective way to reinvigorate math and science education is by finding existing programs that work and scaling them up to a wider reach.

The National Math and Science Initiative has launched its first round of program roll outs, and has immediately impacted 14 states across the nation. In August 2007, NMSI awarded grants to non-profits in six states to institute AP training and incentive programs. In December, NMSI awarded its first grants to 13 institutions of higher education for the replication of UTeach.
