Dale FleuryRegional Director

Dale Fleury is one of two NMSI Regional Directors responsible for the administration and implementation of Advanced Placement* Incentive Program grant awards to states.

Most recently, he was Program Director for Advanced Placement Strategies Incorporated, the organization that served as a model for the NMSI grant program. His responsibilities included the implementation, administration, and management of Advanced Placement Incentive Programs in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Music Theory.

Prior to that, Dale spent 23 years teaching in Wisconsin and Texas. During that time he taught several AP courses and earned state and national recognition for his work in Vertical Teaming and Pre-AP/AP alignment in grades 6-12. As a 12-year consultant to the College Board, he has led numerous conferences, institutes, and workshops in Pre-AP/AP topics and was co-author of Manual and Resources: A Guide to Teaching AP Government and The AP Vertical Teams Guide for Social Studies.

Dale received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and his master’s degree in Education Administration and Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. He has been the recipient of the Liberty Bell Award for Excellence in Law-related Education and the College Board’s annual Excellence in Education Award.
