NMSI Teacher of the Year Award
The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) All American Teacher of the Year Award is presented annually to outstanding AP math, science, and English teachers for remarkable contributions to their students as well as to the teaching profession. Competition for the award is open to current participating teachers in Advanced Placement Training and Incentive Programs (APTIP) in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Texas, and Virginia. Each recognized teacher will receive a trophy, $2,000 and and an all‐expenses paid trip for one to the award events being held in Washington, D.C..
Teachers may nominate themselves or may be nominated by content directors, board members, school leaders, or colleagues. The 23 honorees will be notified.
